About C'est La Vie

Region: France
Location: Burgundy
Capacity: 8 Guests

C'est La Vie translates to "That's Life" and we would add, "That's THE GOOD life!"

The 8-passenger C'est La Vie is one dandy barge for either two people booking a single cabin or four couples traveling together. C'est La Vie is owner-operated by one of the most experienced and service-oriented couples in the barge industry. Olivier and Deborah are onboard and ever-present to ensure you're receiving the cruise you envisioned. Travelers benefit by booking a barge that has owners with expertise in the barge business cruising with them. These former-employees-turned-owners know what travelers expect, and these owners offer this at a fair price! The barge has 4 equally spacious and extremely comfortable cabins with roomy, modern bathrooms and generous showers.

The itinerary wanders along the Burgundy Canal blending medieval towns, Renaissance chateaux, small family-run restaurants and an ever-present towpath for individual walking or cycling. Pricing offers good value for the fine quality received on C'est La Vie. No riding a train for their guests—travel to/from Paris to the barge is by private minivan. Cuisine onboard is prepared by one of the most skilled chefs in Burgundy, carefully selected French wines (not only local, but from the top producing regions in the country), and overall ,everything about this immaculately-kept barge is tip-top. C'est La Vie offers competitive pricing, more-than-average passenger space and a sterling passage in Burgundy.

Meeting Point: Sunday afternoons at one central hotel in Paris.
