If you’ve been following Frontiers’ e-mail blast you know we love Aman Resorts; our team has personally experienced the ‘Aman Way’ at the new Sveti Stefan in Montenegro, Amandari and Amanjiwo in Indonesia, Amanbagh and Aman-i-Khas in India, and the full Amankora circuit in Bhutan. Even though we have not personally experienced the Amangiri property in Canyon Point, Utah, we are positive it is North America’s most distinctive desert retreat.
Amangiri, or Peaceful Mountain, is tucked into a protective valley on 600 acres of land in Canyon Point, Southern Utah, near the Arizona border. A location that features sweeping views toward the Grand Staircase—Escalante National Monument, it is a prime spot to immerse yourself in a few days of rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation, during the winter season.
This winter, during the season of solace, Amangiri is offering a four night yoga retreat, hosted by longtime yogi, Rocky Heron. Enjoy three classes per day during your stay, an energetic Ashtanga class at 8:00 a.m., hip openers and twists at 2:30 p.m., and a restorative session to wind down your day at 6:30 p.m.
Yoga is the perfect way to center yourself, especially during high times of high stress. These retreats are scheduled perfectly to allow for a personal breather before the holiday season, or to re-charge afterward. Contact Frontiers for dates.
Prices begin at $1,050 per night and include complimentary airport transfers in and out of Page Municipal Airport. Contact Frontiers’ Mollie Fitzgerald to learn more about the property or explore alternative yoga retreat options.
