In 2012, the 12-passenger L'Impressionniste reprises last year’s cruise in one of the most beautiful waterways in France: the Ouche Valley stretch of the Burgundy Canal. Affording superb daily excursions, an ever-present tow path, and passing scenery that surpasses expectation, this hotel barge contains all of the ingredients for a perfect cruise. The upstairs floor plan features a spacious sun deck and Jacuzzi outside while a bright airy bar, living and dining rooms with picture windows, and attractive fabrics complete the main level. Downstairs accommodations include two twin/double junior suites and two twin junior suites, all with attractive (although compact) bathrooms of marble with tiny floodlights and two slightly more spacious suites in the bow and the stern.
