Embark on the voyage of a lifetime on board the 12-suite M/V Aqua, the first true luxury vessel ever to cruise the northern Amazon of Peru. The launch of M/V Aqua in 2007 fulfills the dream of founder and CEO Franceso Galli Zugaro. M/V Aqua's interiors were designed by renowned Peruvian decorator Jordi Puig, and the locally inspired cuisine from its galley is created by Lima celebrity chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino. The most exclusive river cruiser in the region, M/V Aqua caters to discriminating and adventurous travelers.
The expedition begins in Iquitos and continues through the remotest areas of the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, at the headwaters of the Amazon. Accompanied by naturalist guides, visit the local villages and explore the mighty Amazon's smaller inlets and tributaries in search of the pink river dolphin and the black caiman, both endangered species. You will also encounter the indigenous population living as they did centuries ago. Departures are offered on a 3-, 4- and 7-night basis.
