Looking for something new?  How about something old?  What about a great combination of both? Castello di Casole, a 41-suite five-star luxury boutique hotel, is due to open its doors July 1, 2012 in the beautiful Tuscan countryside.  The estate’s namesake castle dates back to the late 10^th century and the surrounding estate was farmed until the castle fell into disrepair.  Major renovation in the 18^th century resulted in the building of what is now the Castello di Casole.  After changing hands several times over the years, the property was purchased in 2005 and it has been gently restored into the magnificent property that it is today.

You could not find a more central location to explore the breathtaking scenery of Tuscany—just 20 minutes from Siena, 45 minutes from Florence and a bike ride from the charming walled fortress of Monteriggioni.  Volterra, Montalcino and San Gimignano are all easily reached as well.

Not only are you centrally located to tour Tuscany but you could easily stay busy right on site at this new and exciting property.  You can participate in a seasonal hunting expedition on their game reserve – populated with hare, pheasant and deer.  They have more than 100 acres of vineyards making tours and wine events a regular occurrence.  The wine experience is particularly evident whenever you dine at Ristorante Tosca, where a large wall displays hundreds of vintages from leading wineries in Tuscany and around the world. The estate’s expert sommelier will assist in creating special food and wine pairings.  There is a complete spa and fitness center with personal trainers, offering both yoga and Pilates, access to Castiglion del Bosco Golf Club and tennis courts. Other activities include archery, trekking and mountain biking.  For those looking for a more leisurely option, Castello di Casole offers a heated pool suitable for a swim or to simply sit, read, and soak in the Tuscan sun.

They offer a multitude of variety when it comes to the accommodation.  Their pièce de résistance is the Bargagli Penthouse, a three-bedroom, three-bathroom suite that offers ensuite dining and spa services as well as your own hospitality team to ensure that your stay is all that you could hope for.   What a wonderful family holiday!  They also offer one- and two-bedroom suites.  If your family is looking for a little more privacy, they offer farmhouse rentals right on site as well.  What a perfect place for a family reunion—plenty of privacy but with the services and amenities of a five star hotel!

Castello di Casole is offering two promotions to celebrate their grand opening.  Both have to be booked by June 30, 2012 for travel between  July 1, 2012 – March 13, 2013.  The first offer is a 50% reduction off the published daily rate along with 10% reduction on food & beverage consumption at the Pazzia Gourmet Pizzeria, Tosca Restaurant and Visconti Bar.  The second promotion offers a stay for four nights, pay for three.
